The constant hydraulic pressures exerted by water and soil make waterproofing critical for various types of retaining walls and beams. The application of a properly technology waterproof membrane or coat can keep the structure dry and well-protected. It prevents the occurring of cracks, efflorescence, and general wear and tear, hence maintaining durability in buildings.
For retaining walls, we ensure waterproofing is done on the positive side—that is, the side where soil pressure and moisture meet the structure. This is crucial for long-lasting protection.
We use two main methods for waterproofing retaining walls:
1. Liquid Membrane Coating
2. Torch-Applied APP Membrane Sheet
Wherever concrete joints are present, pressure grouting is applied to seal them effectively.
